Suzy Poling is an exhibiting artist, photographer and a musical performer. She is a photographer that exhibits in galleries and sets up moving installations. the series of Photographs of geysers, mineral deposits, rock formations and algae blooms are what brought her to my attention, the composition creates an interesting juxtaposition between the brightness of the colours with the textures within landscape of the California Coastline. Whilst Poling exhibits her photographs as print in galleries she also creates light and sound installations in gallery spaces and also uses them in performance. Theres a section of her website that is for commercial prints on tshirts.
Even though i have been only ceasing photographs at this time, i will evenuatlly comine these processes to make projected installations, creating prints for a fashion context could also be a potential possibility.
