I have creted a new film which changes slowly over time, it involves some of the images which i created over the past few weeks. To create a relaxing space, i use slow moving imagery to bring the viewer down to the speeds of the changing colours. Developing my ideas on from my last experimentation with mirrors and space, i have set up still lives to photograph the layers of colour and interesting compositions of distorted projection. Katrin Grosse (1) uses the transparent layers of acrylic paint in creating overlapping planes of colour. it is virtually impossible to begin to figure out which layer i ontop of the other. I have achieve the same effect through the photographs of my projections. i am interested in the layers of colour within shape and want to develop these ideas further.
