Collection of more scraps

Shadows on the wall that are created by the MDF

I found that my initial plans of how i wanted this to work didn't, i wanted to draped the fabric through the mdf, in order for there to be bubbles of fabric folding out, however this would work if i had less layers of laser cut mdf but bigger and fewer holes. However when i hung the fabric from the top of the mdf the print it layered through like a piece of coloured glass. This effect has been successful. For Below the Surface i need to create something that can be taken down after the night has ended. working in this way creates a large wall piece acting as a small wall division that could be easily dismantled. This is an image of the same built stucture however i have used the silk screen fabric instead. I think the gemetric shapes combined with the random shapes of the laser cut pieces work really well, alos as the fabric is rather thin the layer underneith shows up too. This whole idea sparked when i had these fabrics draped over my window and using the laser cutter which are shown in the first few images of this post.
