inspiration
I wanted the pieces of acylic to be photogrphed in different lighting situations. And within different spaces using natural and artificail light.
These are text ides with some inspiration for thomas aldorf and barhar yurukolugu.
For my portfolio i thought that it would be best if i asked a photography student to photograph my acrylic pieces in a still life. These are the inspiration boards that i showed Peter Nwabuokei (3rd year photography). I wanted to end up with photographs that showed off the shadows, juxtapositions and clean crisp shots of the acrylic. Again i returned to the same artists that i viewed in the practice unit, i was looking specifically on the composition and lighting of the images. I also added a page with placing a range of objects together, i thought this was something we could do with the different images that i printed on large scale in the last unit. Unfortunately we didn't have time to shoot this, however this is something i would like to do in the future.
